The HP Envy x360 m6-w101dx is a premium-class convertible notebook PC with a 15.6-inch Full HD touch screen mounted on a fully-rotatable hinge and Intel’s mid-range Core i5 processor.

The laptop has no DVD burner. There’s a full-size keyboard with backlight and numeric pad, a big trackpad, stereo speakers by Bang & Olufsen, webcam, 802.11AC Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN, and Bluetooth connections, three USB ports, media card reader, HDMI video output, and a combo audio jack. HP’s Envy x360 m6-w101dx / m6-w010dx weighs in at 5.1 pound and is 0.9″ thick. It also updates the 5-generation core mobile processor and the NVIDIA geforce 940mx graphics card with 4GB video memory. The palm rest and lid have a silver-colored brushed metal finish, while the rest of the notebook is made of silver plastics.

The only difference between the m6-w 101dx and m6-w 010dx is in the software department. The m6-w 101dx comes with the latest Windows 10 OS, whereas the older m6-w010dx runs Windows 8.1 with free upgrade rights to Windows 10.

As the best selling point, the touch display features not only sharp 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, but also IPS technology for ultimately wide viewing angles. Computing is powered by the Core i5-5200U dual-core chip with the Intel HD 5500 integrated graphics. These, coupled with 8GB of system memory, provide seamless completion of the daily chores, a decent potential for heavier stuff like photo and video editing, entry-level gaming performance, and a plenty of multitasking headroom.
