This guide will walk you through the steps to remove your rotation motor. Though disassembly is simple, it is a difficult process to put back together because you have to solder wires or use a wire connector to reattach a new rotation motor.

    • Before you begin, be sure to unplug the fan.

    • Lay fan on the ground and use your fingers peel the three feet off the bottom of the fan.

    • Remove the three 12mm screws using the Phillips #0 Screwdriver.

    • Remove the two 10mm screws using the Phillips #0 Screwdriver.

    • Move the rotation motor left and right to reveal the screw connecting it to the fan.

    • Remove the 18mm screw from the side of the motor using the Phillips #0 Screwdriver.

    • Using the wire cutters, severe the wires connecting the rotation motor to the fan.

    • To put back together you will need to resolder or use wire connectors to reattach motor.

It seems that these instructions are on “How to eeplacr the oscillation motor". But they neglect the requirement to have a replacement motor or how/where to get the replacement motor. Otherwise the steps seem clear.
