Joshua David Shapiro (born June 20, 1973) is an American politician and lawyer who has served as 48th governor of Pennsylvania since 2023. Previously, he served as the |Pennsylvania's Attorney General from 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and as chairman of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners.
