Music production

Music production is a parallel activity in music that aligns art with science to provide a better message and improve sound quality for an ideal product. This product is destined to the listener (i.e the public, i.e the consumer), either in a live performance, or contained in a sound recording (formally known as a phonogram, i.e sound in a physical mean). Universities and product developers test diverse methods in order to expand the knowledge, resources and technologies for this activity, not only for the delivery of a better product, but also to contribute for the evolution of music (in contemporary civilization) and better audio restoration/reproduction (of music from the past centuries).
